When navigating to and enablingSecurity - Access Settings > iLO > Global Component Integrityin the HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) webpage following a system reboot, the Component Integrity status displays "Not supported" inSystem Information > Device Inventory > Component Integrityfor HPE MR Gen11 controllers.NOTE: The global component integrity option allows iLO to authenticate the components in the server using Security Protocols and Data Models (SPDM).During the component integrity process, the HPE MR Gen11 controllers set the incorrect Destination EID to MCTP bridge causing this issue.
This issue is only observed on HPE ProLiant DL365/DL385 Gen11 servers with AMD EPYC 9xx5 2P configurations, which enable multi-segment MCTP bridge. During the component integrity process, the HPE MR Gen11 controllers listed below display the incorrect destination EID to MCTP bridge causing this issue.HPE MR216i-o Gen11 x16 Lanes without Cache OCP SPDM Storage Controller (P47789-B21)HPE MR216i-p Gen11 x16 Lanes without Cache PCI SPDM Plug-in Storage Controller (P47785-B21)HPE MR408i-o Gen11 x8 Lanes 4GB Cache OCP SPDM Storage Controller (P58335-B21)HPE MR416i-o Gen11 x16 Lanes 8GB Cache OCP SPDM Storage Controller (P47781-B21)HPE MR416i-p Gen11 x16 Lanes 8GB Cache PCI SPDM Plug-in Storage Controller (P47777-B21)
This issue only impacts HPE ProLiant DL365/DL385 Gen11 Servers with AMD EPYC 9xx5 2P configuration. The functionalities of the HPE MR Gen11 controllers still work normally without SPDM/Component Integrity. Other configurations have no impact. This issue will be resolved in a future HPE MR Gen11 controller firmware release. This document will be updated when more information becomes available.
