When HPE OneView is in FIPS mode, a firmware update may fail due to an unexpected error occurring while a server profile with a firmware baseline is applied. HPE OneView will display the following error message:"IssueThe firmware update operation failed on server {server_name} due to an unexpected problem. (FWOP_011)ResolutionRemove the firmware bundle referenced by this firmware update. Then, re-add the firmware bundle to OneView. When the add is complete, refresh the server hardware and retry the firmware update. If the problem persists, contact your authorized support representative and provide them with a HPE OneView support dump and the AHS logs from the iLO.Generate install setGenerating install set for the server.IssueUnable to generate install set due to internal error. (FWOP_011)ResolutionTry again by removing and re-adding firmware bundle to the repository, if problem persists, contact your authorized support representative with a support dump."This issue will occur when using HPE Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) 10.8.0, 10.9.0., SPP 2024.04.00.01, or SPP 2024.04.00.02 that contains the Smart Update Manager (SUM).
HPE OneView with any HPE Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) that contains HPE Smart Update Manager (SUM) versions 10.8.0 or 10.9.0.
