During an installation of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP5 with Errata kernel 5.14.21-150500.55.44.1, using the HPE Synergy 3820C 10/20Gb Converged Network Adapter on HPE Synergy Gen10 Compute Modules, the Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) interfaces will get created; however, will display as offline.
Any HPE Synergy Gen10 compute module, with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP5 with Errata kernel 5.14.21-150500.55.44.1 and FCoE and using the HPE Synergy 3820C 10/20Gb Converged Network Adapter.
To avoid this issue, use the errata kernel Mar-13-20245.14.21-150500.55.52.1 (or later).
