For HPE ProLiant/Synergy Gen10 Plus Intel-Based Servers, after applying the Server profile with BIOS Workload Profile set to "Virtualization-Max Performance," the following BIOS settings will be displayed as being inconsistent.Maximum Uncore FrequencyMinimum Uncore FrequencyWhen this occurs, the Profile will display a yellow warning alert, "BIOS Settings do not match the expected values."This occurs because the System ROM changes the values for these settings internally to 24 and 8 respectively, whenever the workload profile is set to "Virtualization-Max Performance."Once the profile has been applied and the BIOS settings actuated, OneView begins to flag these settings as inconsistent since these setting have values of 0 on the OneView profile, which does not match the values in the BIOS.

As a workaround for the Max/Min UnCore Frequency settings, set the desired values in the profile to the actual values that the System ROM applies to these settings and re-apply the profile. This advisory will be updated if additional solutions become available.Document VersionRelease DateDetails2August 13, 2025Updated to indicate Gen11 systems that are impacted1June 25, 2024Original document release
