When installing or booting Linux on an HPE ARM-based server, no boot messages are displayed, or the display is blank in the iLO 6 Remote Console. The following messages may be displayed and the system may stop responding:EFI stub: Booting Linux Kernel...EFI stub: Using DTB from configuration tableEFI stub: Exiting boot services and installing virtual address map...
HPE ProLiant RL300 Gen11 Servers and HPE ProLiant Compute DL384 Gen12- or any HPE ARM-based server are affected. For some distro, such as RHEL or Ubuntu, after a while the installer or login prompt may show. For SLES, it is only black screen.
