HPE OneView implements a Single Sign-On (SSO) feature to allow quick access to the Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) Management Interface. This SSO feature requires an internal handshake with the iLO.Single Sign-On (SSO) from HPE OneView to HPE Integrated Lights Out (iLO) Management Interface may not open if the iLO's full domain host name is over 49 characters. When the full domain name is used for server's IP address and the iLO's full domain host name is over 49 characters, it will result in truncated SSO information being returned in the final https address. This will prevent the iLO's Management page from displaying. For Example:Hostname: "p23456789.d23456789.d23456789.d23456789.d23456789.net"Then the final redirected https address may appears as follows:"https://p23456789.d23456789.d23456789.d23456789.d23456789"Notice this address is missing the.netthat should be included as part of the final redirected address. This truncation of the address prevents the iLO's Management Interface page from displaying.
Any versions of HPE OneView that support HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 versions.
