For any HPE Synergy 480 Gen11 compute modules, the following message may be displayed during the very first power on:"X64 Exception Type 0x06 - Invalid Opcode ExceptionSymptom: An Invalid Opcode Exception has occurred indicating that the processor tried to execute an invalid, undefined opcode, or an instruction with invalid prefixes."
In the scenario described above, any HPE Synergy 480 Gen11 compute modules running System ROM versions prior to 2.16_03-01-2024.
To avoid this issue, update the System ROM to version2.16_03-01-2024(or later).If this issue has already occurred, perform a manual cold reboot.
