Document VersionRelease DateDetails2April 14, 2023Updated the Resolution section with HPE 3PAR SP release 5.1.1.0, which contains the fix1November 18, 2022Original Document ReleaseAfter upgrading HPE 3PAR StoreServ storage arrays to software version 3.3.2 MU1, the HPE 3PAR Service Processor-based performance collection does not work as expected.Files that are affected include the Performance Analysis collection started from the GUI, scheduled System Reporter HIRES collections that are sent back to HPE, and the regularly scheduled Perform file collection that is sent back to HPE.In the Performance Analysis and Perform files, the files will be created, but the following error displays and the rest of the file will be empty (in the following example, the stat command will vary):TclNRExecuteByteCode: unrecognized opCode 189 CLI "statport -disk -rw -d 180 -iter 1" failed returned 134The SR Hires files will fail to be collected by the HPE 3PAR Service Processor (SP), and in HPE InfoSight, the tables under the "Performance" tab will be blank.The System Reporter,srstat, andstatcommands can still be run on the array itself, they just cannot be triggered and collected automatically by the HPE 3PAR Service Processor.
This issue affects all versions of HPE 3PAR Service Processors on HPE 3PAR StoreServ Storage arrays running software version 3.3.2 MU1.
