In rare instances, when installing an HPE ProLiant m710x server cartridge into a Moonshot 1500 chassis, the NIC ports may not come up automatically when paired with an HPE Moonshot 45XGC switch.This can occur despite rebooting the cartridge, enabling and disabling the NICs in the OS, etc.
Any HPE m710x Server Cartridge paired with an HPE Moonshot 45XGC switch in a Moonshot 1500 chassis.
To resolve this issue, shut down and undo the shutdown of the corresponding switch port, and the problem will not be seen on that cartridge again.For example, if cartridge 15 port 1 is showing the issue:1. Connect to the Moonshot Chassis Manager and then connect to the corresponding switch.hpiLO-> connect to the switch vsp sa Virtual Serial Port Active: SA Startingvirtual serial port. Press 'ESC (' to return to the CLI Session.2.
