On an HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen11 or HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen11 server with HPE Integrated Lights-Out 6 (iLO 6) and an NVIDIA RTX A1000 GPU, the following is observed on the Graphical User Interface (GUI) mode when running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2 (or later):Unable to use the iLO remote console because the GPU card displays from the onboard VGAUnable to access the iLO settings because the display displays GPU OS instead of the iLO page (iLO web interface is available)When the black screen is observed, the system is still running with no GUI. To access the system, perform a remote login.
Any HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen11 or HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen11 with iLO 6 and NVIDIA RTX A1000 GPU and running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2 (or later).Note: This occurs on iLO 6 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2 (or later).
As a workaround, to access the system controls, first connect to the iLO web interface.For systems installing Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2 (or later) perform either of the following before the installation and then enable the GPU after the installation: To disable the GPU in BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) or manually disconnect the GPU until after the installation.This advisory will be updated when additional information is available.
