With certain adapters, HPE OneView Server Hardware User Interface Page may display a critical error "The appliance cannot communicate with the adapter in unknown due to a data exchange problem." This occurs when the HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) cannot communicate with the adapter. The issue limits the manageability of the adapter by the HPE OneView Server appliance.
Any HPE system with HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) firmware v2.71 (or earlier).
