When Automatic Certificate Enrollment is enabled in the HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) and the option "Include iLO IP Address(s)" under "Certificate Enrollment Settings" is checked in the web interface, the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate issued by the Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol (SCEP) server may not have the IP Address(s) listed in the Subject Alternative Name (SAN) of the Certificate.Figure 1: iLO 5 Automatic Certificate Enrollment screen with option to Include All Include iLO IP Address(s).For additional information, refer to theHPE iLO 5 User GuideEnabling Automatic certificate enrollment section.
Any HPE system with iLO 5 firmware v2.60 (or later).
This issue is resolved in iLO 5 firmware version 2.78 (or later).As a workaround, use the iLO 5 Automatic Certificate Enrollment RedFish REST API.
