Any HPE Synergy Compute Module running a VMware Operating System and configured with an HPE Synergy 3820C 10/20Gb Converged Network Adapter (777430-B21); a Purple Screen of Death (PSOD), Uncorrectable Machine Check Exception (UMCE) errors and network disconnections may be experienced after updating to firmware and driver of the HPE Synergy CNA to firmware combo image version 7.18.82 and qfle3 driver versions 1.1.12.0 / 1.1.14.0 / 1.4.14.0 (both firmware and driver components included in the HPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP) releases for May 2021, "2021.05.01" and "2021.05.03").
Any HPE Synergy Compute Module running VMware ESXi 6.5, VMware ESXi 6.7 or VMware ESXi 7.0, and configured with an HPE Synergy 3820C 10/20Gb Converged Network Adapter (777430-B21) with firmware combo image version 7.18.82 and any of the following qfle3 driver versions (both firmware and driver components included in the HPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP) releases for May 2021, "2021.05.01" and "2021.05.03"): VMware ESXi 6.5: qfle3 driver version 1.1.12.0 VMware ESXi 6.7: qfle3 driver version 1.1.14.0 VMware ESXi 7.0: qfle3 driver version 1.4.14.0
