Document VersionRelease DateDetails204-26-2021The Resolution section has been updated with the firmware version containing the solution.108-07-2020Original document release.On an HPE ProLiant Gen9/Gen10 Server Blade configured with a Virtual Connect module and 9 (or more) virtual functions defined in the server profile by HPE OneView or HPE Virtual Connect Manager, and with either an HPE FlexFabric 20Gb 2-port 650M Adapter or HPE FlexFabric 20Gb 2-port 650FLB Adapter, the adapter may display a link down after performing a firmware update to version 12.0.1216.0.Once the firmware update has completed, the server blade will undergo a system reboot, and half of the virtual functions (1:1e through 1:1h and 1:2:e through 1:2h) may display a link down state in the Operating System. Performing another system reboot does not resolve this issue.
An HPE FlexFabric 20Gb 2-port 650FLB Adapter (700763-B21) or HPE FlexFabric 20Gb 2-port 650M Adapter (700767-B21) with firmware version 12.0.1110.10 (or earlier), in the scenario described above.
