Any HPE ProLiant Gen 9 Servers or HPE Synergy Gen9 Compute Nodes running the following HPE SNMP Agents:HPE SNMP Agents for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, (hp-snmp-agents_rhel7_x86-64@10.9.0)HPE SNMP Agents for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, (hp-snmp-agents_rhel8_x86-64@10.9.0)HPE SNMP Agents for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 (hp-snmp-agents_sles12_x86-64@10.9.0)HPE SNMP Agents for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 (hp-snmp-agents_sles15_x86-64@10.9.0)
This is resolved in the hp-snmp-agents version:10.9.1 (or later).As a workaround, restore an earlier version of HPE SNMP Agents Service by performing the following:Uninstall hp-snmp-agents service version 10.9.0 on your server.#rpm -e hp-snmp-agents-10.90.x86_64.rpm --nodepsDownload and install the hp-snmp-agents service version 10.8.0 or 10.8.1 fromHPE Software Delivery Repositorywebsite.#rpm -ivh hp-snmp-agents-10.80.x86_64.rpmTo download the hp-snmp-agents version:10.9.1, perform the following steps:Click the following link:Hewlett Packard Enterprise Support CenterEnter a product name (e.g., "DL380 Gen9") in the text search field and wait for a list of Suggested Products to display. From the Suggested Products list displayed, identify the desired product and select it.The page should refresh to display the "DRIVERS AND SOFTWARE" tab and the components that support the selected product. From the "DRIVERS AND SOFTWARE" expandable filter menus on the left side of the page:Select the Software Type - (insert the specific filter here, e.g. "Firmware")Select the Software Sub Type - (insert the specific filter here, e.g. "Driver - System Management")For further filtering if needed - Select the specific Operating System from the Operating Environment.Locate and select thehp-snmp-agents version:10.9.1(or later).Note: To ensure that you have selected the latest version of the firmware/driver, click the Revision History tab to check if a new version of the firmware/driver is available.For more important information, review the Release Notes tab.Click the Download button.RECEIVE PROACTIVE UPDATES: Receive support alerts (such as Customer Advisories), as well as updates on drivers, software, firmware, and customer replaceable components, proactively via e-mail through HPE Subscriber's Choice.
