On any HPE ProLiant server running VMware ESXi 6.0 or VMware ESXi 6.5, and configured with any of the network adapters listed in the Scope section below with HP Broadcom tg3 Ethernet Driver Version 3.137l.v60.1 and Firmware Version 5719-v1.46 NCSI v1.3.16.0, a Purple Screen of Death (PSOD) may occur when the Ethernet cable is removed from one of the network adapter ports while the server is booted to the Operating System.
