Unable to run a CAVA fsscan on file system in Unity. Receive the following error: svc_cava nasserver -fsscan -create 552913155: VC: 3: ERROR: File system not found. Command failed Error 13158645870: emcproduction02 : ERROR: File system not found.
The path provided was incorrect for the file system Mount path. Unlike VNX where it specifies only the file system name, the same does not work in Unity. The following paths fail: /fs_name/ \fs_name \fs_name\ \\nas_server\Filesystem\ //fs_name and so forth Ensure that CAVA is enabled and running before running the scan. The below command can check this: uemcli /net/nas/cava show Example: uemcli -d 10.0.0.1 -u Local/joe -p MyPassword456! /net/nas/cava show Storage system address: 10.0.0.1 Storage system port: 443 HTTPS connection 1: NAS server = nas_0 Enabled = yes 2: NAS server = nas_1 Enabled = no
The syntax of the command is: svc_cava { <NAS_Server_Name> | ALL } [ -fsscan [<fs_mountpath> { -list | -create | -delete } ] -fsscan [<fs_mountpath> { -list | -create | -delete } ] Start, stop, or view the status of a full file system scan, where: l <fs_mountpath> Specifies the location of the file system to be scanned. The Correct path is /fs_name l -list Displays the scan status for the specified file system. l -create Starts a full scan on the file system <fs_name> , and the offline options allow the file system scan on all offline files. By default, offline file systems are not included. l -delete Stops the scan. Example: 16:43:50 service@APM001805XXXX spa:~/user> svc_cava nas_server02 -fsscan /test_fs -create nas_server02 : commands processed: 1 command(s) succeeded output is complete 8 dirs scanned and 22 files submitted to the scan engine firstFNN=0x0, lastFNN=0xe0f34b70, queueCount=0, burst=10
