The computer may fail to boot to the operating system, enter diagnostics mode and display one of the following messages: No Bootable Device Windows Boot Manager has been blocked by the current security policy The issue occurs after enabling Custom Mode, deleting all keys in the BIOS and flashing to the following affected BIOS versions. The Platform Key is reloaded after updating the BIOS with the imported new key. After the reload, the original setting is reset and due to Secure Boot mechanism, the boot is blocked.
Note: Before starting the update, perform the following: Back up all personal data. For more information, refer to Back Up and Recovery . Connect the AC adapter. See the following table for the BIOS version with fix and update the BIOS to resolve the issue. To download and install the BIOS, refer to the BIOS Update Guide . To resolve this issue: Boot to the BIOS from the F12 one time boot menu, select System Setup . Disable Secure Boot . Reset Secure Boot keys through Expert Key Management → Reset All Keys . Re-enable Secure Boot in Deployed Mode. If the computer can boot into Windows, flash BIOS to latest version from within the operating system.
