The status remains "In Progress" indefinitely when attempting to add the switches. No timeout or error message is displayed.
The root cause of the issue is that the switch had a NAT IP configuration. SANnav does not support Network Address Translation (NAT), which means it must be able to communicate with the managed devices using their configured IP. Managed devices must be able to communicate back to SANnav using SANnav's configured IP. The NAT IP configuration of the switch is the primary cause of the issue. SANnav's inability to support NAT is a key factor to the cause of the problem.
To resolve the issue, ensure that SANnav can communicate with the managed devices using their configured IP, and the managed devices can communicate back to SANnav using SANnav's configured IP.
