In NMC, the size of data cloned to tape appears incorrect The original backup and the first clone to Data Domain display correct sizes in both NMC and mminfo The second clone copy (DD to tape) shows: Incorrect size values Incorrect completion percentage
When a backup saveset spans more than one tape volume: The cloning session starts with the first tape volume and then switches to the second After completion: The second session part reports the entire session size The first session part retains a partial size This duplication causes gstd to miscalculate the total size, resulting in incorrect completion percentage and size reporting in NMC
This issue is tracked under Bug ID: NETWORKER-113140 . A fix is in the upcoming NetWorker release scheduled for the end of May 2025 Until the fix is applied: The incorrect size/status is a display issue only; the clone data integrity is not affected No manual workaround is required
