Description

Symptom

traceback and reload crashinfo indicating in thread unicorn admin, decode to tcp_intercept_stat DACL count was over 700k, hardware only rated for 500k After reload, total ACL element count was under 40k single multi-context instance crashed

Conditions

asa 5555 SFR module present (running 6.6.5) 9.14(4.12) memory exhaustion high acl count (specifically dynamic ACLs) multi-context threat detection configured on some but not all contexts (was present on traceback instance) HA was disabled but configured at time of traceback

Workaround

monitor memory and reload box to reduce disable threat detection
