Symptom

{+} Issue is seen during the switchover at the time of the deletion & creation of auto-tunnels, with the below error logs seen: On active RSP3 node %IDBINDEX_SYNC-4-RESERVE: Failed to lookup existing ifindex for an interface on the Standby, allocating a new ifindex from the Active (ifindex=258, idbtype=HWIDB) On standby RSP3 node %TUN-3-TUN_HA: Tunnel HA: Tunnel creation on standby: mismatching hw if_index {+} IDB Leak and traceback observed. Mismatch of hw if-indices also noticed.

Conditions

The part of configuration which causes deletion and creation of auto-tunnels is: 'mpls traffic-eng"

Workaround

Reloading the setup at times when auto-tunnels are in a stable state, will not throw this error.
