ipv4_rib or ipv6_rib crashes while re-evaluating quarantined paths Prior to the crash a log like the following may exist in show logging: ipv4_rib[1262]: %ROUTING-RIB-7-SERVER_ROUTING_DEPTH : Recursion loop looking up prefix
Route with multiple paths with some paths quarantined and some paths not On re-evaluation of quarantined paths a new path that should be quarantined is found This can occur with routes that cover their Nexhops (example 192.168.1.0/24 with nexthop 192.168.1.1/32) or with deeply recursive routes where RIB is unable to resolve the nexthop due to the depth of recursion
None, however after the crash is seen all paths will be properly quarantined, so further crashes without topology changes will not be seen
Platform independent issue, only affects release 7.3.3 Should not be traffic impacting
