Nexus 9K platforms have 40G ports. When you breakout one of the 40G ports into 4x10G ports with a QSFP breakout cable, not all of the subinterfaces can be added to a port channel.

+ Configure "no buffer-boost" on all of the subinterfaces. This enables the channel-group config to go through.
