Uneven, Blotchy, Non-Uniform or Mottled looking prints are caused by difficulty transferring Toner to the paper This is most often caused by using paper that is damp, is of poor quality, or not designed for this machine (ie: Inkjet paper) It can also be caused by, poor calibration, or uneven distribution from a low toner cartridge. Paper Must be Within Proper Specifications Make Sure the Paper Tray is Using the Correct Media Weight / Type Settings Print Solid Color Pages to Determine the Affected Toner / Drum Make 10 Blank, Two-Sided Copies to Help Clean the Output Remove and Reinstall the Appropriate Drum Cartridge Reseat Transfer Module Drawer Clean the Second Bias Transfer Roller Use a New Ream of Paper Proper Sequence to Power the Printer and Print Server Off and On Check the Status of All Toner (Dry Ink) Cartridges and Replace the Cartridge, If Necessary Replace the Drum Cartridge
