Document VersionRelease DateDetails204/11/2017Updated Resolution with permanent fix, HP SUM 7.6.0110/31/2016Original document releaseHP Smart Update Manager (SUM) Version 7.5.1 (or earlier) will not list ProLiant Gen9 servers when a Custom Baseline is created with the ProLiant server BL, ML, or DL filter option selected.Once the filter is applied, the list of all the components are displayed, but none of the components are associated with Gen9 servers. Component Packs for ProLiant Gen9 servers should be listed in the Custom Baseline creation field.As a result, if a Custom Baseline is created, the baseline file will not function on ProLiant Gen9 servers.
Any ProLiant Gen9 series servers using HP SUM Version 7.5.1 (or earlier) to create a Custom Baseline and configured with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 or 2012.
HP SUM 7.6.0 will enable a Custom Baseline to properly filter the ProLiant BL, ML, or DL servers as per the filter option selected:http://h17007.www1.hpe.com/us/en/enterprise/servers/products/service_pack/hpsum/index.aspxAs a workaround, the Baseline Library to add or create a default baseline.After downloading the SPP, copy the full contents of the iso to, for example, C:\SPP2016.04. Then, click on hpsum.bat under C:\SPP2016.04\hp\swpackages\hpsum.bat.
