On HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen11 systems configured with the AMD Instinct MI350P 144GB PCIe Accelerator for HPE, after updating the Runtime Management Interface (RMI) firmware through HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO), the Integrated Management Log (IML) incorrectly displays the pending firmware version as "No Pending Version".An example of this behavior is shown in the image below, where the pending firmware version is reported as "No Pending Version" instead of the installed firmware version.
HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen11 systems configured with the AMD Instinct MI350P 144GB PCIe Accelerator for HPE following an update of the Runtime Management Interface (RMI) firmware.
A fix for this issue is planned for a future release of the AMD MI350 PCIe GPU Runtime Management Interface (RMI) firmware. At this time, the issue is limited to the incorrect display of the pending firmware version in the HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) Integrated Management Log (IML) and does not affect the firmware update process. This advisory will be updated as additional information or a corrective firmware release becomes available.
