When using an HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) SSH fencing agent that is typically used with the corosync/pacemaker, the iLO SSH service may stop responding to requests after some period of time. The following may be observed when this occurs:Errors in the fencing agent logs.Inability to establish any SSH connection to the iLO 6.Attempting to establish a SSH connection to iLO 6 from any client, either error similar to following will occur:"ERROR: Unable to connect/login to fencing devie"OR"Timed Out: Fence agent did not complete in 20s"
Any HPE system with iLO 6.
This issue will be fixed in a future version of iLO 6 firmware. The following workarounds are available.Use a different fencing agent such as IPMI (fence_ipmilan) or Redfish fencing agents.ORReset iLO 6 if SSH becomes unresponsive.
