Any HPE Synergy 480 Gen11 or Gen12 Compute Modules with HPE Synergy 6310C 25/50Gb Ethernet Adapter may unexpectedly restart after one of the following actions are performed:On OneView 10.0, a server profile with connection configurations to the HPE Synergy 6310C 25/50Gb Ethernet Adapter is applied from the Server Profile page, either for the first time or after it has been edited or modified.On OneView 10.0, a server profile is applied as part of the Logical Enclosure configuration with connection configurations to the HPE Synergy 6310C 25/50Gb Ethernet Adapter.On OneView 10.0, 10.1 and 10.2, the Interconnects are replaced.On OneView 10.0, 10.1 and 10.2, the OneView appliance is restarted.HPE OneView is upgraded to OneView 10.0, 10.1 or 10.2. (This will cause the OneView appliance to restart.)
Any HPE Synergy 480 Gen11 or Gen12 Compute Modules with HPE Synergy 6310 25/50Gb Ethernet Adapter managed by HPE OneView 10.0, 10.1 or 10.2.
The issue in the Description above are addressed by updating toHPE OneView 11.01or later. A reboot is required to apply the configuration.HPE highly recommends an upgrade to OneView 11.01 or later versions when managing Synergy Gen11/Gen12 Compute Modules with an HPE Synergy 6310C 25/50Gb Ethernet Adapter.NOTE: When compute modules with HPE Synergy 6310C 25/50Gb Ethernet Adapters are managed by OneView 10.x versions, HPE highly recommends that the compute modules are shut downbeforeany of the outlined operations above are performed to avoid an unexpected server outage.
