On an HPE system running HPE Integrated Lights-Out 6 (iLO 6), after upgrading the iLO 6 Firmware to any version beginning with 1.62 through version 1.66, the Virtual Serial Port (VSP) will no longer respond. With firmware version 1.61, VSP works as expected. However, VSP stops logging after upgrading to any version from 1.62 up to 1.66.For example, after entering the following on the command line, no logging will be visible; instead, the prompt will remain at the following screen:</>hpiLO-> vsp Virtual Serial Port Active: COM1 Starting virtual serial port. Press 'ESC (' to return to the CLI Session.
Any HPE system with iLO 6 firmware version 1.62 through 1.66.
