All RPM packages included in the Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) are signed using the HPE RPM signing key. The existing RPM signing key will expire in December 2025; therefore, starting with the November 2024 version (2024.11.00.00), the SPP will use a new RPM key to sign all RPM components.Newly signed RPM components from November 2024 SPP cannot be flashed by older versions of iSUT. Therefore, iSUT 5.3.0 will be the minimum version needed for flashing RPM components. This also holds true for users who intend to update RPM components outside of SPP.
This impacts any online Firmware update of all newly signed RPMs on all servers with any RHEL/SLES operating system.
Either of the following solutions are available:Update from earlier versions of iSUT to iSUT 5.3.0 using COM/OV/SUM.ORInstall iSUT 5.3.0 manually on servers with RHEL/SLES OS.
Operating Systems Affected:Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15
