A value set for the cxi_core untagged_eth_pcp option in cxi_core.conf does not get applied. The option setting is not picked up and the resulting value remains at '-1'.# cat /sys/module/cxi_core/parameters/untagged_eth_pcp-1
This customer advisory applies to Slingshot Host Software version 2.2 and 11.0 in CSM and HPCM environment.
The rxe_init.sh script must be replaced with an updated version. The replacement rxe_init.sh script removes the "untagged_eth_pcp" cxi_core parameter check. The configuration of the untagged ethernet pcp was moved to the QoS profile, and the parameter no longer reflects the actual value being used.To install the rxe_init.sh script:1. On each node using RXE, copy the rxe_init.sh script providedto /usr/bin/2. Ensure that the rxe_init.sh file has user/group owners of 'root'.3. Ensure that the file has executable permissions. The replacement script will now be used in place of the prior /usr/bin/rxe_init.sh script that was installed by the cray-rxe-driver rpm.Note: There are two versions of the modified rxe_init.sh script. One for the 2.2.0 release and one for the 11.0 release. The modified rxe_init.sh scripts are not the same. Be sure to install the script that matches the installed system release version. The respective rxe_init.sh scripts are available from the following links:Script for Slingshot Host Software 2.2.0https://downloads.hpe.com/pub/softlib2/software1/cd/p1078951391/v258563/rxe_init.shScript for Slingshot Host Software 11.0.0https://downloads.hpe.com/pub/softlib2/software1/cd/p1078951391/v258764/rxe_init.sh
