For any HPE Synergy 480 Gen11 compute modules using Intel VMD, and with the boot order configured in the HPE OneView Server Profile, the boot order may change after performing an e-fuse reset.
In the scenario described above, any HPE Synergy 480 Gen11 compute modules.
To avoid this issue and if needed, power off and then power on the compute module, instead of an e-fuse reset.If this issue has already occurred, manually change the boot order using the BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU), or HPE Integrated Lights-Out 6 (iLO 6).Additional information can be found at the following links:RBSU Changing boot optionsiLO 6 Configuring the server boot order
