The HPE OneView Server Hardware page will not consistently reflect a new HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) host name for an HPE Gen10, Gen10 Plus or Gen11 server after it has been updated via the OneView server profile. Despite the successful hostname change for iLO, the OneView User Interface (UI) and API will continue to display the old name while the server profile correctly displays the new iLO hostname.The examples below show the affected fields in iLO and OneView:
Any HPE Gen10, Gen10 Plus or Gen11 servers managed by an HPE OneView version less than version 9.20.
