When managing or monitoring an HPE Gen11 server with HPE OneView 8.8 or earlier, the power utilization may show an incorrect value for the total power capacity. Instead of the CPU displaying the maximum power available, the average power usage may be displayed. For example, a ProLiant DL380 Gen11 with two 800W power supplies should display a total power capacity value of 1600 W (1.6kW). In the example below, a total power capacity of 276 W is shown instead of the 1600 W (1.6kW):This example below shows what should be displayed:The incorrect value will be seen in the following areas of the OneView User Interface:Right side of the power meter on the main Server Hardware page. The Y axis on the power graph, in the utilization details, will have an incorrect scale. Instead of the Y axis showing the maximum power available between all power supplies, it will show the average peak power used.
