The RESTful Interface Tool (iLOrest) command flashfwpkg is unable to flash the component and UEFI task goes to an exception.The image uploaded to the server when the update target is issued is of the wrong size, which is a known limitation of the HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO). Due to the same limitation, the BIOS rejects the image when the UEFI task is created with this image.
Any HPE system using the iLOrest command flashfwpkg when configured with Direct Attached and/or controller connected drives.
Use the following commands when performing the flash component operation:uploadcomp --component [component_name]taskqueue create [component_name]
