On HPE Agentless Management Service for Windows version 2.52.4.0(or earlier), the AMS Control Panel Applet allows changes to be made to the iLO SNMP setting. On ProLiant Gen10 and Gen10 Plus servers with iLO firmware version 3.04 (or later), performing SNMP setting changes through AMS Control Panel Applet no longer functions properly.Change requests made through the applet appear to work; however, nothing is actually changed in the iLO SNMP setting.
Any ProLiant Gen10 or Gen10 Plus server, running a Windows Server 2016, 2019, or 2022 operating system and configured with Agentless Management Service version 2.52.4.0 (or earlier) and iLO 5 firmware version 3.04 (or later).
Starting with iLO 5 firmware version 3.04 and later, iLO Management requires an Authentication before any changes to iLO settings can be performed. To avoid this issue, enable the "Require Host Authentication" to allow AMS Control Panel Applet to set iLO SNMP setting. From iLO GUI page, select Security > Access Settings > Edit iLO setting > Check the box for "Require Host Authentication".
Operating Systems Affected:Microsoft Windows Server 2022, Microsoft Windows Server 2016, Microsoft Windows Server 2019
