The following message is displayed after an inventory in the Smart Update Manager (SUM) page for a ProLiant Gen10 Plus UBM storage backplane in Integrated Smart Update Tools (iSUT):No Applicable Component FoundInstead, after an inventory, the review/deploy page should display the component that is ready to be deployed.
Any HPE system with iLO 5.This has been observed on an HPE ProLiant DL325 Gen10 Plus server, ProLiant Gen10 Plus UBM storage backplane, and HPE Smart Array P816i-a SR Gen10 Controller; however, any HPE system with an iLO 5 may be affected.
As a workaround, when attempting to use the HPE Maintenance Supplement Bundle (MSB) dated March 2022 with iLO firmware v2.65 to deploy the ProLiant Gen10 Plus UBM storage backplane firmware component, perform either of the following:Downgrade iLO 5 to earlier than v2.65 . Update to iLO 5 v2.65 after component is deployed.OrUse an earlier version of theService Pack for ProLiant (SPP).To download iLO 5 firmware earlier than v2.65, perform the following steps:Click the following link:http://www.hpe.com/support/ilo5Enter a product name (e.g., "iLO 5") in the text search field and wait for a list of Suggested Products to display. From the Suggested Products list displayed, identify the desired product and select it.The page should refresh to display the "DRIVERS AND SOFTWARE" tab and the components that support the selected product.
