The Mellanox RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE) driver component includes both kernel space and user space components.Below is an example for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.8:kmod-mlnx-ofa_kernel-3.3-OFED.3.3.1.0.0.1.gf583963.rhel6u8.x86_64.rpm (Kernel modules RPM)mlnx-ofa_kernel-3.3-OFED.3.3.1.0.0.1.gf583963.2.rhel6u8.x86_64.rpm (RPM containing user space libraries).The RoCE user space library RPM (mlnx-ofa_kernel) is known to conflict with the OpenMPI RPMs available with the Red Hat Enterprise Linux and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server distributions.When installing Mellanox RoCE driver packages on an HPE ProLiant server running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12, or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 and configured with any of the devices listed in the Scope section below, using a command similar to the following:#rpm -Uvh kmod-mlnx-ofa_kernel-3.3-OFED.3.3.1.0.0.1.gf583963.rhel6u8.x86_64.rpmmlnx-ofa_kernel-3.3-OFED.3.3.1.0.0.1.gf583963.2.rhel6u8.x86_64.rpmThe following messages may be displayed if the OpenMPI RPMs are installed:error:Failed dependencies:libibcm.so.1()(64bit) is needed by(installed) openmpi-1.4-psm-1.4.3-5.el6.x86_64libibcm.so.1()(64bit) is needed by(installed) openmpi-1.4-1.4.3-5.el6.x86_64Note: On SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SPx full package installation, the mlnx-ofa_kernel RPM is known to conflict with the following RPMs in addition to the OpenMPI RPM:mvapich2slurmlibdat2libdpdk

This is a known behavior.
