In an HPE Synergy 12000 Frame, HPE Synergy 480 Gen10 and Synergy 660 Gen10 compute modules with the specified CPLD versions installed (see Scope section) may unexpectedly power down. This issue can occur in the following scenarios:When there are input power glitches on all the power supplies which can occur in a noisy power feed environment, during power feed maintenance and other power related events such as UPS AC-to-battery power fail-over.When an input power feed loss occurs for a frame with the HPE Synergy Dual Slot Power Supply Adapter with HPE 1800W‑2200WFlex Slot Titanium Hot Plug Power Supplies power solution installed.Due to the intended design and behavior of the HPE Synergy Dual Slot Power Supply Adapter power solution, this issue with the affected CPLD versions is very likely to occur on any input feed loss with this power solution installed. Users with this configuration should proactively verify the CPLD version and update as specified.
HPE Gen10 Compute Modules with the following CPLD versions installed:HPE Synergy SY480 Gen10: CPLD versions prior to version 0BHPE Synergy SY660 Gen10: CPLD versions prior to version 16
