You may have been doing some work on your PowerFlex Manager and you went into service details on a particular service and now you do not see anything in details YET the service exists. You cannot do anything with it including removing it.
In this case /var/log was 100% full.
Clear out /var/log and make sure the log rotation parameters are set as follows: To fix log rotate on PowerFlex Manager appliances to compress and rotate logs, perform the following. # Become root. sudo su - # Update syslog logrotate rules by deleting what is in there and copying/pasting the following text into the lograte.d/syslog file: vi /etc/logrotate.d/syslog (use whatever editor makes you happy) /var/log/cron /var/log/maillog /var/log/messages /var/log/secure /var/log/spooler { size 100M rotate 5 compress missingok copytruncate }
