Pressing the power button with the D key may not initiate the LCD BIST. The computer goes into the operating system instead. The issue occurs when the laptop has a Quad High Definition (QHD) touchscreen display. Affected Platform: Dell Pro 14 Premium PA14260
There is no 3.3-volt power which is required to start the LCD BIST test.
Note: Before starting the update, perform the following: Back up all personal data. For more information, refer to Back Up and Recovery . Connect the AC adapter. Updating the BIOS to version 1.1.1 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the BIOS, refer to the BIOS Update Guide .
