The BIOS reports the memory speed as 4800 Mhz when 5600 Mhz Double Data Rate 5 (DDR5) memory is installed. Affected Platform: Dell Pro Micro Thin Client Q9M1260
The thin client downgrades the 5600 Mhz memory down to 4800 Mhz so it can use it. This is what the Thin Client is designed to do.
Note : This is the expected behavior from this product. The maximum memory frequency that the Q9M1260 thin client can support is 4800 Mhz. The thin client downgrades any memory installed that is a higher speed to the maximum supported speed. The thin client uses that memory at the maximum supported speed.
