The diagnostic version 5.4.13, 5.4.14, 5.4.15, and 5.4.16 introduces the Limp Home Mode (LHM) function status detection and triggers the 2000-0128 error code when an LHM failure state occurs.
The engineering department is working on a fix to be released in a new version of BIOS for Dell 14 Premium DA14250. The updated BIOS is posted to the computer's support page once it is made available. For other platforms, see below for the version with fix and update the BIOS to resolve the issue. To download and install the BIOS, refer to the BIOS Update Guide . BIOS version 2.8.1 or later for Dell Pro 13 Plus PB13250, Dell Pro 14 Plus PB14250, Dell Pro 16 Plus PB16250. BIOS version 1.10.2 or later for Dell Pro 14 PC14250, Dell Pro 16 PC16250. BIOS version 1.9.0 or later for Dell Pro Max 14 MC14250, Dell Pro Max 16 MC16250. BIOS version 1.6.1 or later for Dell Pro Max 14 Premium MA14250, Dell Pro Max 16 Premium MA16250. Note: Before starting the update, perform the following: Back up all personal data.
