A defect in Intel’s Memory Reference Code, leads to elevated rates of Uncorrectable Memory Errors on certain DIMMs. The defect resides in BIOS versions before 2.5.4 , which was released in March 2025 . BIOS 2.5.4 includes updated Intel Memory Reference Code that resolves the issue.
Customers can resolve this issue by upgrading to a DDOS version that includes BIOS 2.5.4 or later . BIOS updates are bundled with DDOS releases and are customer-installable . Recommended DDOS Versions DDOS 8.4.0.0-1166200 DDOS 8.3.1.10-1192561 Or any later DDOS version Note: There is no separate BIOS upgrade process. BIOS updates are automatically applied during the DDOS upgrade.
