A NativeEdge Gateway with a 5g modem receives an unexpected 5g configuration message that causes the device to enter a non-desired state that prevents the device from reconnecting to its 5g connection.
Due to the NativeEdge Gateway receiving an unmarshalled data string with the 5g provider the modem remains in a disconnected state.
Fix: NativeEdge Engineering has created a dedicated EdgeOS hotfix to address this issue (3.2 Hotfix 1) This is a EdgeOS bundle, which can only be deployed when the orchestrator has been upgraded to Dell Automation Platform 1.0. Workaround: If this occurs on NativeEdge 3.1, then a reboot will clear the situation temporarily and allow for normal connectivity to resume.
