Dell Power Edge XE9780 and XE9785 may generate the following event in the Lifecycle Controller during hot removal of a NVMe drive: Life cycle log: Kernel log:
When a drive is removed, the Presence Detect Status (PDS) of the respective downstream port takes longer than anticipated to clear, resulting in the triggering of Downstream Port Containment (DPC).
This log event does not affect the functional behavior of the system and can be safely ignored.
