The RDFA Auto-recovery feature is enabled by default for new SRDF Groups starting in Magnolia code (10.2). You can disable this feature for an RDFG using the command: symrdf -sid xxxx -rdfg ## set rdfa -autostart off Once this feature is turned off, the command to turn it back on does not appear to work. This behavior is working as designed. Once this feature has been disabled, it can only be reenabled by restarting the SRDF/A session. Auto-recovery stays inactive until the SRDF/A session restarts, even when autostart is enabled. Therefore, you must suspend and then resume the replication to see this value change for the group.
Workaround: You can reenable the RDFA Auto-recovery feature using the command: symrdf -sid xxxx -rdfg 15 set rdfa -autostart on -nop Once this has been enabled, you must suspend and then resume the replication to restart the Auto-recovery feature for this SRDF group: C:\>symrdf -sid xxxx -f rdfg15.txt -rdfg 15 suspend -nopAn RDF 'Suspend' operation execution is in progress for device file 'rdfg15.txt'.
