Dell only installs air shrouds on Dell Pro Max Tower T2 FCT2250 systems configured with a 1500-watt power supply. The air shroud component is not linked to the processor or memory selection of the system. Only systems built with a 1500-watt power supply use the air shroud.
The air shroud is only needed for the Dell Pro Max Tower T2 FCT2250 with a 1500-watt power supply for more cooling.
