Data Domain Engineering has identified a code defect where the health check feature uses the wrong port number to check cloud provider connectivity.
Manually verify the cloud provider and check if the cloud unit is in a disconnected state. If it is connected without issue, it is safe to ignore this error. Example: System without cloud connectivity issues: sysadmin@dd01# cloud profile show Profile name: ECS_Profile1 Provider: ecs Endpoint: https://haproxy.example.com:443 Version: 3.8.1.4.140200.8103892f11b Proxy host: Proxy port: 0 Proxy username: Profile name: ECS_Profile2 Provider: ecs Endpoint: https://haproxy.example.com:443 Version: 3.8.1.4.140200.8103892f11b Proxy host: Proxy port: 0 Proxy username: sysadmin@dd01# cloud unit list Name Profile Status Bucket Reason --------- ------------ ------ ------------------------------------ ------------------------------- ECS_Unit1 ECS_Profile1 Active 2bd43735a749403b-bc814429bd6eca92-d0 Cloud unit connected and ready. ECS_Unit2 ECS_Profile2 Active 8dfd3d92f7246847-63e08e68f7c293c0-d0 Cloud unit connected and ready. --------- ------------ ------ ------------------------------------ ------------------------------- This issue is fixed in DDOS 8.5 and later releases.
